Nursery Room Ltd was established in 2018 after careful consideration on what we wanted to do as a family for the future. Nursery Room Ltd is a small family run business. Sevjen Ali who is the owner of the business wanted to build a nursery where it offered a nursery set with the attributes of a childminder.

Sevjen has been working in the nursery industry for over 10 years, experiencing the good and bad workplaces, which has given her the opportunity to understand how important it is to set the foundation and processes for the nursery.

Sevjen has had three kids of her own, so when looking for the right childcare to look after her kids (on her return to work), it was one of the scariest moments in her and her husbands life. You could have all the qualifications that is required legally to look after under 8 year old however it is still you leaving your child somewhere other than home and turning your back, with the hope when you return back everything will be OK. Especially on the first few days, Sevjen and her husband experienced their children crying when dropping them off which was very hard but from the confidence they had obtained from their childminder, they knew it was only for that moment this had occurred, later everything was OK.

So we at Nursery Room identified the issues that had caused us problems, such if you are late, then there was a charge, no form of understanding and meet in the middle on fee’s.
Nursery Room has set is priority to be fair, offer the best possible one-two-one learning along with mixing with other children. Nursery Room has been built in a detached new building behind the family house which has private access. The local neighbours have been very supportive of the family on pursuing such a business and we hope that all parents will feel the homely vibe Nursery Room has to offer.
